Let me start by saying first my DH and I truly enjoyed our cruise on the Escape. We have no completes. The Ship is beautiful. It has been a while since we have been on a ship this size. We kinda like a little smaller with less people, Getaway, EPIC. We were in room 11834 and Ester was wonderful. Always had some towel animal waiting. DH and I came back to the room one afternoon from shore and all the officers where checking the rooms. We thought something bad had happened, but they were doing checks of the cleaning of the rooms.

Cannot say enough about the food. We had the 4 restaurant package. We don't usually do the specialty restaurant but it came with our package. The food in Taste and Savor are always good. Once we boarded the ship we went right to Taste and had the grouper sandwich. It was to die for. I love NCL because of the not having to be anywhere at a specific time. With the specialty restaurants you need reservations, that kinda stressed me out. The food at Teppanyaki was good, but the chef we had wasn't into it like the others.

The main reason I gave this cruise a 4 and not a 5 is because I think some of the areas on the ship could be, for lack of a better word, toned down. If you are playing cards in the non-smoking area of the casino, you couldn't hear the dealer because the music was so loud.
