I had taken a few cruises well over 20 years ago and swore I would never do another. My husband has never been on a cruise. We decided to take a leap of faith and sail on this new ship to Bermuda and then spend a few days in NYC. We had such a blast on this ship. Sure everything wasn't perfect. I think a few restaurants like Jamie's and Izumi's really needed more staff......but we had a mind set to have fun and not nit pick.

The ship is so beautiful and clean. Most of the staff were friendly and happy to help. Our room attendant, Risky was a great guy who took very good care of us. Although the weather sailing back was rainy and we missed out on our scheduled IFLY, we made the most of it and had a blast. So take our advice go in with a mind that you will have fun!! We don't do buffets, so we only ate there once for breakfast, however we felt the other food venues were pretty good. We did 3 paying and a few complimentary. We enjoyed SILK very much and never had to wait for a table as we had made reservations prior to cruising. Our cabin was on #10 - 10244 and it was AWESOME with a huge balcony and plenty of storage.

Remember you are spending a lot of money to take this vacation, don't look for the negatives....make the most out of your vacation , go with the flow and ENJOY yourselves!!

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Great views of NYC and Statue of Liberty - port was fine and we had no issues with the traffic or getting on the ship
