I have been on better cruises. I have been on better cruises with NCL. Last year we sailed on the Dawn out of Miami. The experience was much more positive and made me want to experience the convenience of taking a cruise without the hassle of dealing with airport security and getting from airport to the port and back.

I also need to qualify our experience as I am a travel agent and have been to many destinations. I also need to say that we paid full price and as such expected value for money spent.

I knew that our ports were truly not the best or most interesting. I have been there and done that and just wanted to have the at-sea experience and be pampered for a week away from work. That was not how it turned out. Read more
