The Escape is a lovely ship but was not our cup of tea. We are 69 and 70 years old and both the music and announcements were played ridiculously loud. The ship is better suited for young families. There were also 1,000 children onboard and 400 parrot heads (nice, friendly but LOUD).

Our balcony cabin, 12122, was very quiet and we heard no noises coming from above, below, or between walls; that really impressed us. We really liked the location of our stateroom. Had plenty of space to store our belongings. NOTE: the electricity in your room does not work unless you have your key card in the slot near the door.

The food was very good; we ate in Garden Café, Taste, Savor and O'Sheehans. O'Sheehans is next to the atrium so it was always very noisy there. Even though the ship was full capacity, we never had to wait for a table (we had anytime dining) and service was prompt.
