Until now I have been a HUGE cruise fan, and a Carnival Gold VIFP but they've just cut back so much I don't recommend for families any more. They've cut out the cute chocolate on your pillow, they want $2 for a tea bag, the sushi bar is gone, the fun stuff in the gym is now all for a $40/day fee, and there were only 2 shows.

However, if funds are not an issue the ship is well appointed, the dinners were all delicious, and the entertainment that they did have was a lot of fun for everyone. Expect to spend $22 per each 8 x 10 photo.

Best burgers we ever had on a cruise ship at Guy's Burger Joint. Go ahead and check the dinner menu for the "rare find" and Regional Special they are always worth it and if in fact you do not enjoy it there is always more to choose from. If you are a budgeter like me plan for $100 pp per day for all the extras at a minimum.
