This was my fourth cruise on Carnival but it has been a few years since my last. Everything was as awesome as I recalled except some of the changes in the VIFP perks. Some of the cost cutting measures seemed overly cheap like not delivering your purchased alcohol the last night of the cruise. I understand people were abusing the perks though... Overall it was still a great cruise with great service. The dine-in movies were especially memorable and our dining room staff was super helpful getting us food to go so we could finally see Avengers Age of Ultron!

One issue we had which was totally my fault was the cabin location. I've never booked this late and we wound up in a room right over the propellers so every night the room sounded like it was trying to shake itself apart. If you like sleep stay away from the aft part of the lower decks! :)

For excursions we only did one. The St. Thomas Champange Catamaran Sail Away. It was a little more expensive but the snorkeling location was great and even with a fairly bad current it was easy enough to check out the shallow portions of the reef at Honeymoon Beach.

Seriously, don't get a cabin back in this area. I had to stuff paper in between every surface in the room to stop the horrible noises at night. Even the paintings on the wall had shook lose from their frames.
