This was the first time DH and I cruised on the Summit. We have always wanted to try it but somehow never did until now and we were glad we did! We had a balcony cabin, port side on deck 9. There was plenty of storage and pleasing light colored cabinets in the stateroom as well as the bathroom. The lighting was nice and bright in the bathroom and water pressure in the sink /shower very good. We never experienced noise issues from the neighboring cabins which was a refreshing change!

We were in an Aqua class cabin which enabled us to dine in Blu each night. We enjoyed the food and always experienced great/efficient service. A tip: if you dine between 8 and 8:30 the table selection will be better. We did try eating in Cosmopolitan one night but I didn't like my entrée, it could have been just a fluke.

Since we didn't eat in the main dining room each night, I can't compare the food to other lines but the experience we had in Blu would make me say that there it was better overall than on RCI or other lines we've sailed on. Of course food is quite subjective and the only fair way to make a judgement would be if I tried everything on the menu, LOL! The service was definitely better in Blu than the one night we ate in Cosmopolitan, it was more like a specialty restaurant on other lines.
