We decided on this cruise as we wanted to spend three days in Bermuda and drive to New York. This was our 9th cruise. Enjoyed every one but this one. Ship was huge, crowded. Not bad if every day was nice but if you had a rainy day, everyone stayed inside and you had to yell above the noise. Smell of smoke from the casino everywhere. Everything was scheduled in the Atrium where people would go and sit all day. If you were lucky to get a seat anywhere you didn't dare move as there was always someone ready to grab it. The atrium was always packed. Not enough quiet places just to relax.

Had to make reservations for all dining even free ones, if not, had to wait in line for people that had reservations. We only got into the Manhattan restaurant once as every time we went, there were big lineups. We were lucky we chose a port day to go, no lineups. Taste and Savor had the same menu every day, with a couple exceptions. Had no problem in the buffet area. 16th floor has a burger place. Go there on your first day instead of Garden Cafe, hardly anyone there. Teppanyaki was excellent, worth the fee and entertaining.

Make reservations for shows ahead of time as again, if you didn't, you had to wait until after the people with reservations got in, We made our reservations online before we left home. Theatre only holds about 800 people. Did not like their reservation system at all. Nice outdoor area on deck 8. Someone had been sick in our room on the cruise before. They only cleaned it when we complained about the smell. They had to clean carpet twice and still couldn't get rid of the smell. Staff was great. Balcony was the smallest we've ever had and the people next to you could lean over and look right into your room, which happened to us.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Good size cabin, very small balcony, no drawers, closet too close to bed. Bathroom good size, lots of storage. Room was never clean until one o'clock and nine at night. Friends on another floor had no problem getting their room cleaned early. Great cabin Stewart's. Not a fan of their light system but got used to it.
