May 1st 2016 Sailing from San Juan -
First off let me state we're not full time cruisers like some so this will be short. This is our second cruise in nine years with the last being on the Glory out of Port Canaveral in 2007. Cruising is fine but we have elected to travel the world by plane and then spend fifteen or twenty days per trip walking, taking trains or trams and seeing the different countries and continents of the world on our own. We have a great time. By ourselves. We are not ones to sit with ten or fifteen other people at dinner and we don't play or participate in the on board activities. We simply go for the Sun, the Ship's Stateroom Balcony and the Islands. While on the ship we spend two thirds of the time on the balcony.
OK, now for our thoughts on the Fascination - we had a starboard side aft (right side rear) balcony stateroom (E229). The room was very adequate and comfortable for the two of us. My wife had plenty of room for her clothes and makeup and there was plenty of desk top room for wine, whiskey, coke and an Ice bucket. No personal complaints about the room or even the ship at all.
Our cabin, a starboard side aft balcony room was great for just the two of us. We did not have one single issue or concern the entire 7 day cruise.
