This was a last minute cruise and I had to choose between only 3 or 4 cruises with availability. All my prior cruises had been on Carnival with all my kids. This vacation was just my husband and I so I decided to try a better cruise line. While everything was great on the cruise, I'm not sure why Carnival is rated a lower class cruise line.

The food was pretty average, the room was terribly small, and everything on the ship was basically just ok. It is a brand new ship so everything was clean, which was fantastic. The staff was excellent, all very personable and kind. I have no complaints at all, I'm just not sure cruising with Norwegian is any different than cruising on a new ship with Carnival. Next time I'll try a luxury cruise line and pay that price. Yikes!

We bought the spa package and it was totally worth it. Everything about the spa is excellent!
