It's a wonder on how each review you read, they can be so completely opposite. First off, you need to research what time of year you plan to travel. Cruising has become very popular for college spring breakers... and yes, they travel on Royal Caribbean too. We travelled at the end of the spring break season, and found that they were well behaved and were didn't bother us at all. It was a good mix of middle aged - families. If you are a senior, I would suggest cruising on a cruise that is aimed at that age group. They do have themed cruises. The staff on the ship was exceptional! I found everyone we came across to be extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Food: The food in the main dining room was good, not fantastic, but that is why they have the specialty restaurants offered now. We ate there 3 out of 5 nights (Portofino and Chops). The food is excellent and the staff even better. We did the wine/dinner paring on the first night. I highly recommend it for future RCL trips. It didn't matter which staff member we checked with, they all were very knowledgeable on everything we asked. And the atmosphere in both restaurants was wonderful too. In my opinion, it's definitely worth the surcharge to have such a wonderful night out and the special treatment they give you there. The main dining room is beautiful too, and breakfast and lunch were far above what you get in the Windjammer. Jade is somewhat of a joke as it's only another buffet line in the same restaurant as Windjammer. I did expect a bit more, but I was not impressed with Windjammer at all.

Pool area: The solarium is nice, but definitely not enough sun and very quiet. Pool VERY small. The main pool area has two pools, but they too are rather small for a ship with 3500 people on board. They do make up with ample deck space on several levels around the pool area.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin L

The stateroom was an interior room, but a higher category on deck 9. The beds were about the most uncomfortable mattresses I've ever slept on. I'm thinking it's because it was a low category room as I've never seen any complaints about them before. It doesn't look it, but there is plenty of storage space. Travelled with my sister and we each had 2 suitcases. Was able to put everything away and not crammed. On the other hand, the bathroom shower is VERY crammed. Like I've read before, don't try to pick up your soap if you drop it!! ha ha
