This is the third Viking River Cruise we have taken. Viking always does a great job to make sure passengers are safe and enjoy their travels. So far I rank the Viking cruise from Basel to Amsterdam the best, closely followed by Avon to Lyon, France second. This cruise from Budapest to Nuremberg was also good but I rate it third compared to the other two we have taken. The Viking crew as very professional and always provided us with what ever we needed.

The local entertainment on board was not as good as other Viking cruises have provided. The onboard pianist was excellent and always appreciated his music.

The quality of the food service is always first class. The waiters are always willing to get you what ever you want. I know they work long hours but they always try to provide a smile and great service. Read more
