Leaving Lisbon on the way to Cadiz, Spain.
It was difficult for me to compose a picture to capture the blended architecture of this church in Cadiz.. Originally constructed as a mosque it was taken over and subsequently enlarged with European style architecture.
My wife, Bunny really liked this tree. We were trying to figure out where it would fit in our yard.

The obligatory photo of our home for this trip across the pond. The good ship Celebrity Equinox. This was our first time aboard Equinox. Previous trips were on her sister ship, Silhouette. The picture was taken from Ft. Santa Barbara.
The views from Fort Santa Barbara were beautiful. We were thankful for clear weather.
Ft. Santa Barbara sits on top of a mountain overlooking the port. It is built on many levels.
Here you can see what the fort looks like from sea level.
I include this photo just to prove that I was actually on the cruise.

My wife and I are relatively new to the cruise scene. As an individual who likes people but doesn't like crowds, I couldn't imagine being couped up on a vessel with limited space with a couple thousand others. However she persuaded me to take an Alaska cruise, and I have been hooked ever since.

This was our fourth trans Atlantic cruise and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The weather for the first week was less than optimal. In fact it was probably the worst weather we have experienced on a trans Atlantic cruise with low temperatures, wind, and rain. The accommodations, personnel, and comfortable environment more than compensated for the limitations on being outside. The Lord provided great weather the second week when we were visiting the ports of call.

On previous trips we traveled Agua Class and thoroughly enjoyed dining in Blu. This time we were in the main dining room. I was a bit apprehensive about that since I was spoiled by the more intimate environment and enhanced menu of Blu. My apprehensions were unfounded in that the dining experience was wonderful thanks to cheerful and attentive wait staff and a chief chef that provided exceptional meals well presented.
