This was my husband and I 2nd cruise but wanted to take my son and his girlfriend. Needless to say they LOVED it and we loved the time we got to spend with them! The staff was wonderful! I can't say enough good things about this cruise! I would highly recommend it! We sailed on Carnival Magic last year which is little bit bigger than the Freedom but Freedom has an adult only swimming pool which we loved. That was in addition to the hot tubs on the serenity deck.

We had an interesting experience on our deck. Seems like someone was on house arrest about halfway thru the cruise so there was a security officer posted down the hall from our cabin. I love how the waiters remember all of our names even when seeing us other places and they even remembered what we drank. I danced with the waiters after dinner almost every night! The housekeeping staff did wonderful jobs on our cabin 2-3 times a day.

The food.....what can I say about the food except wonderful and I miss it!!! We ate at the Steakhouse the first night and got our free bottle of wine and we even had a glass of champagne. I highly recommend eating at the steakhouse at least once during your cruise. Guy's Burgers is a must also along with the condiment bar that includes sautéed mushrooms and onions! We snorkeled in Cozumel and Grand Caymans with Caymans being my favorite. The water and fish were so awesome! Lunch consisted of grilled hamburgers, hot dogs and jerk chicken along with the wild iguana running around the picnic area.

Cabin Review

Cabin interior

Cabins are small but we were only in there to change and sleep. Our shower flooded but as soon as we called customer service they sent someone immediately and took care of the problem
