The ship and it's features are really it's own saving grace as it is amazing. The rooms are spacious and the interior digital balconies are awesome and most of the crew was friendly and very helpful. This trip was a family gathering for my mother's 60th birthday and we wanted to make it an extra special time for her. We were a group that included my parents, my siblings and their spouses, and kids ranging from 4-8.

Our first issue happened before we even arrived on the ship. The website is so bad and not user friendly that we ended up having to call in to book just about everything for our cruise. We were a group of 13 and had about 5 staterooms, so we had to get all the rooms connected when making reservations and that seemed a challenge in itself. It's a hit or miss when you call in to find someone who will actually understand what you want. We ended up booking all our dining, an excursion, a birthday decoration package, some spa treatments, activities like the ripcord and northstar, the character breakfast and an excursion for everyone. We booked all of this months before the cruise as we wanted to make sure everything was set.

A week before we were supposed to sail we checked our reservations and just about every one of them was messed up. The excursion, which we booked through an RCI representative who had said it was all set up, was changed so that we were split up into two groups instead of being one. When we tried to fix it they said they couldn't do anything because the location was specific about how many people were allowed in at a time. We did end up being able to get my mom back into the group with everyone else but my dad was not able to go with us. When we got to the excursion there were a ton of strangers with us and people from other groups were added to ours because we were short people and they wanted to fill the ride. We were never given a satisfactory reason for why this excursion was messed up so bad.

Cabin Review

Interior Connected Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Very nice and spacious but horrible if you have more than two people staying in the room and want privacy. There is no barrier or curtain between the bed and the pull out bed so there is no privacy. The virtual balcony is awesome!

Port Reviews

Labadee

Very nice beach. Wish we spent more time here.

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

This was a very obscure port. Kind of appears out of nowhere.

San Juan

Very nice port

St. Maarten

Great time and shops close to the boat. We avoided all the company taxis and went outside and got one of the locals. He was very nice and took us to all the places we wanted and gave us a lot of great facts and tidbits about the island.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Very nice port
