Since I was a child I wanted to go to French Polynesia because a cousin of mine was there for 6 months and he told us wonderful things about the life in the Island. I also particularly wanted to visit Kiribati (Fanning Islands) and Rarotonga in Cook Islands but the weather was so bad that we could not visit these two places.

Let me start saying that my friend with whom I travel and I became 4 stars mariners on this journey and are over 70 years old.

Summary: cruise was scheduled to go to French Polynesia on the rainy season, notorious lack of management of embarkation process, Hotel and Entertainment functions. Kainoa, the excellent Location Guide and his lectures saved the whole cruise.

San Diego

Embarkation process at the Pier in San Diego was the worst ever. It took a total of 7 hours.
