Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

The number one reason we chose this particular cruise was the price. It was essentially a 2-for-1 pricing promotion - book/pay for an inside cabin and immediately get upgraded to a balcony. For us, our balcony upgrade was on a high-deck aft balcony, which I was extremely happy about and surprised they had given us this cabin/location for the price we paid.

When we entered the terminal building on departure day, it appeared that things would be slow seeing a couple long lines. However, everything moved very quickly, and we were on-board within about 30 minutes.

The Divina is a beautiful ship. The appointments throughout the ship are immaculate - all very upscale, contemporary, spotless clean, and very comfortable.

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

Very nice layout. Bed was much to hard for my taste, so I slept on the sofa after the second night ... much more comfortable for me. Aft balcony is always wonderful. I was able to get reasonable wifi in the cabin, though I was told that the wifi was "only" available in public areas - signal was certainly much stronger in the public areas, but again, usable in the cabin.

The shower design is very nice in that the sides "fold" inwards, so it provides more space in the bathroom when you're not in the shower. If you're a large person, the size of the shower may present problems with the sides in their proper showering position.
