We chose this cruise because of the two new islands we haven't been to. St. Kitts and Grand Turks. St. Kitts was very disappointing and we were warned by every staff member before we got off the ship to not venture past the shopping area for safety reasons. Good thing we had an excursion which we enjoyed. But the poverty on that side on the island is very visible and at times disturbing. I don't think I will go back there again. Grand Turk on the other hand was paradise. And again we took a carnival excursion to the private beach and beach toys. FANTASTIC!!!!!! But you can roll off the ship for free and enjoy the beaches near the port.

The ship was old and the renovations were no more then slapping on a coat of paint, which wasn't slapped on in some places, and adding wallpaper to the doors. The ship was crowded and the the sea days were stressed with no room on deck. The services was wonderful especially Juan on deck 8 for room 8328. Great service, thank you Juan.

The food was better than past cruises and they have finally put real sugar in their deserts, LOL. They weren't empty calories. All in all we had a great time except for the over flowing toilet in our room on the last night. But maintenance and room service was there to fix and clean. It was a stuck water valve and it wouldn't stop running water into the bowl.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Shopped til we dropped.

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

The only issue was being driven through poverty and filth. More here than on any other island I have visited.
