After many cruises on many different lines, I feel that I am able to offer a pretty good opinion of our cruise with Princess.

We knew that this was a "trial" - cruising a little early in the year for Hawaii (not to mention leaving from Vancouver, BC), that's why we weren't too surprised when cool weather and heavy seas started our trip to Hawaii. I feel that many of the people onboard (mostly Canadian) were disappointed at the bad weather, an it's effect on "pool time" on deck. We enjoyed reading inside and watching the heavy swells of the sea.

Hawaii was lovely, and I considered our 4 days there as a "sampler plate" of what Hawaii has to offer. We had just enough time on each island to take a modest tour and get some shopping in.
