I will begin by saying I did not have great expectations of a Carnival three day but had seen some good reviews

.We have had some decent experiences on Carnival so decided it was a cheap weekend and what the heck. Our first clue was we were told that our credit card to use aboard was being declined by the computer and rather than taking the time for us to call our bank, we were told to go to customer service aboard because it was probably going to work fine there. Of coarse the card work at customer service desk, but not a good start.

We had taken a TBA room and ended up on deck 4 aft which was fine, the room was clean and comfortable. The ONE thing I will rate as exceptional overall was the staff, our room steward, and everyone we encountered greeted us with a smile and a hello.
