I chose this cruise based on past experience on Norwegian Breakaway. Arrival was poorly organized. Boarding delayed 1 hour past published start time, and the terminal was so crowded there was no place to sit ... passengers stood shoulder to shoulder being told to get out of the aisles, but there was no place to go. I stood from my 11:00 assigned arrival time until 1:30pm waiting to board.
The ship is beautiful. Cabin service is great. Main dining room food and service is good, specialty dining room food - for an extra charge - is fabulous. Be warned, once you are on board, unless you are a group of five or more, you cannot make a dinner reservation in any of the main rooms, you have to take your chances and wait on line, or spend extra for a specialty room. WiFi service is expensive, horribly unreliable and screamingly slow. I complained to the Manager and was given a partial refund. I would have preferred reliable service.
Guest services were difficult to get; lines were long and slow. I found two of the three reps to be less than knowledgable. I stood on line three times to solve one issue because I got the same rep twice, and he gave me bad information twice. Guest Services cannot provide a single print out of all of your dinner reservations, shows and excursions. Apparently, they are all on different computer systems and "Guest Services" does not have access to them. My laundry was not returned when promised, and I had to get on the guest services line to track it down. It was ready, they just had not delivered it.
The driver and tour guide were great. Van was in poor shape, and a very tight fit for the number of guests, especially for the length of the tour which was 10am to 5pm.
