This was our second Thomson cruise having been on the Majesty earlier this year. Despite being an older and smaller ship, the Thomson Spirit was a fantastic choice and I can see why people return to her year after year. Embarkation at Limmasol was quick and efficient. The terminal is not the best, but very few of them are. In no time at all we were on board the Spirit and escorted to our outside cabin on Deck 2 by friendly and welcoming staff. From the moment you step on board the vibe on the ship is easy, relaxed and comfortable with many traditional features of the classic cruise ship still apparent.First impressions are very important and we were not disappointed.

We were very impressed with our cabin(679) on Deck 2, probably one of the largest cabins we have experienced on any ship. Lovely comfy double bed, two large wardrobes (yes two!) and tons of storage in draws and bedside cabinets. Cabin spotlessly clean throughout, clean fresh linens and towels and everything smelled clean and fresh. Bathroom was fine, again with a large storage cabinet for your bits and pieces of toiletries... everything worked well, plentiful hot water and shower was fine too.

Our suitcases arrived about 30 minutes after boarding the ship which was really good too.

Cabin Review

Cabin outside(porthole deck 2)

Delighted with cabin. Spacious, comfortable and quiet. We slept like a log. Good sound insulation and no noise from corridors, neighbours or engines at night.

Cabin stewards and service was excellent.
