Unfortunately due to poor service by our airline (not the fault of MSC as the airline screwed up the connection flight), we missed the ship at Miami and had to embark at Nassau. Once the paperwork was completed, cards issued & luggage dropped to the cabin, we were able to grab a couple of hours to gain a flavour of Nassau, so our experience of MSC Divina didn't really start until around 24 hours after the cruise had left Miami Cruise Port. That said we had a great time and here is our honest feedback...

CABIN: MSC actually upgraded us when we booked and we ended up with a 12th floor family room with a balcony! The room was spotlessly clean with a double bed and a sofa which opened out to a double bed (recommend asking the room staff to bring a second duvet so the kids have one each) and although there was a lack of space to wander around the cabin, our steward Cadek was fantastic and after cleaning the cabin after we had left for the day, he would convert the second bed back to a day-sofa to give us more room. He would then return after we had gone for dinner to clean up again (replacing room & pool towels etc) and would make the sofa back in to a bed for the night. We used our own toiletries but shampoo and shower gel were provided for those who wished to use it. There was also a hair dryer available, as well as a safe which was set up by you with your own code on arrival. The safe was a decent size and could accommodate iPads. The balcony was a wonderful luxury and I would go out there to read or take in the views.

ROOM SERVICE: Although not an extensive menu, the food was delivered within 20 minutes and was delicious. We had to call back a couple of times as a request for a sandwich without mayonnaise was unfortunately missed, however it was rectified immediately.
