My partner & I cruised on the Elation from Jacksonville, FL on 4/23-28 and I must say I had an AMAZING time! I read 100's of reviews before we left as this was to be my very 1st cruise and I'm grateful that I'm the type of person that takes everything with a grain of salt & forms my own opinions about things others say! This cruise was AWESOME! The staff was impeccable, our room was clean & very nice, the shower although small (to be expected) was the best!!! The water was HOTTTTT & the water pressure made me feel like I was at a spa!

The food wasn't the best in the world but it wasn't the worse either! There were so many good choices that you would never go hungry!!! I didn't get the soda pkg because I'm not a soda drinker but the free 24/7 lemonade was good enough for me & it was the bomb!!!

The 2 excursions we went on we're absolutely perfect...We did the Sea & See Excursion in Nassau & the All Inclusive Private Beach Getaway in Freeport that gave us free drinks the ENTIRE time we were there & free Bahamian buffet. The activities on the boat were plentiful. We didn't do anything that charged more money like playing bingo, or the casinos but there were so many other things to do that we didn't miss out on anything. The club was good with great music. Plenty of nice places on the ship to take selfies & candid pics...... We chose late dining at 8:15 & we liked that.....You could choose as many appetizers and entrees as you so desired......Pizza 24/7.....Room Service 24/7....Basically you can eat from sun up to sun down if you want! Lol....Overall I truly enjoyed my vacation! No more complaints than any other vacation I've been on... Ppl were on the boat from all walks of life but bottom line we were all there to have a good time, relax from everyday life, drink, eat & be merry & Carnival made all of that happen.... Read more
