This was our 14th cruise. We usually leave from Florida, have left out of San Juan, & will never choose to leave out of Galveston again! Port is 1 hour away from airport-too hard to get there. It is also the worst disembarkation we have ever experienced! Stood in so many line for so many hours!
We have been on this ship before, & since it's smaller & can go to more ports, we chose to try it again. We will stick with the bigger ships, less ports, & leave out of Florida! We are now Diamond members, which we love. But, it was a mess on this ship! We were told that there were over 400 Diamond members on the ship. We were treated very poorly! Small lounge. No seats. Had to stand in line & practically beg for drinks. We have been treated better before.
We chose to sail later in April to avoid all of the Spring Break kids, which was another big mistake! There were so many motorized wheel chairs, walkers, & canes that it was hard to get anywhere. We even heard someone comment how they NEEDED the elevators & we didn't! I believe that we paid the same amount of money to be on the cruise & should be allowed to use the elevators! There was also an incident where a child at the table next to us bled all over the table. The waiter did nothing. The head waiter did nothing. It absolutely ruined our 1st night's dinner! It was a health issue at the very least!
