The Ruby was well not a disappointment but I would have liked a better taste in my mouth after all this is PRINCESS... All I am going to say is we did not have a great time nor a bad time but a really mediocre time... I am sure some people had the best time of their lives we were hoping for a little more fun... I was walking thru the ship and saw a line must have been 150 people and said WOW! What is going on here... I was told they were waiting in line for high tea....Hummmm. Need I say more, that was the most people I saw in one place at one time.... The entire ship was like a seniors' rest home....But I guess that's Princess they have been around from the start and their customers are getting on...OH and you get to see it on the TV 24/7 LOVE BOAT..Talk about living in the past. I was so happy to get away from that show. I think it was on 4 channels at the same time. I have seen enough of the Love Boat to last two life times..Sorry I went on there...

The food was just bad I like to have a omelet in the mornings on a cruise. Only two days did the make eggs to order... WOW... Lunch was the same thing everyday... The food in the buffet was way better than any other place. And the pay extra dinning was not any nicer as far as food goes than the main dinning rooms on the ship and the casino was always empty.. Unless you were a smoker then that is were you lived on the ship... Anyone that smoked was in there 24/7 No smoking anywhere else on the ship except pool side and then they got hard looks from the other pax.

We could not tender in the Grand Caymans the swells were to high... Jamaica we did not leave the ship I was just out of the hospital and was not up to fighting off vendors of fine things. Beads and other offerings... We where going to go horse back riding but my little operation was not 100% yet. So I went down to the desk to ask for a refund 199.00 and was told sorry you have to see our doctor 1st and if he says you not well enough then you can request a refund after I called the officer in charge of excursions and told him I talked with Princess before I left home about this and I did not know then if I would be healed enough to ride and they said don't worry we do not even charge you until you have enjoyed the excursion... If your not up to it just let someone know ...NOT A PROBLEM...After all that they gave me my money back... Oh and we had to bitch about the tour in the Caymans we did not even get off the ship and they charged us but took it off the last day of the cruise...
