The main reason for taking this cruise was to get from Singapore to Cairns, Australia and Celebrity Millennium was the only ship that fitted the bill regarding ports and timing.

A week prior to joining the ship in Singapore we were advised by our booking agent that the scheduled stop at Bali had been cancelled due to security concerns. We were naturally disappointed but firmly believe that passenger safety is paramount and this decision was for our benefit. (Not so impressed when passengers who were due to join in Bali and who then had to fly to Darwin to join the ship reported that a number of cruise ships had stopped at Bali at the time Celebrity Millennium was supposed to have been there, including a Royal Carabbean vessel! - the sister company to Celebrity!!).

We were very happy with the Celebrity Millennium. The accommodation was clean, functional and comfortable. This included our cabin, restaurants, theatre and public areas.
