Sail Date: Feb 2016

We were very pleased with our cruise on the Celebrity Reflection in 2015, but our 2016 sail on the Silhouette was a little disappointing, to be honest, for a few reasons.

Embarkation was super quick and easy. We were on the boat about 30 minutes after getting to the terminal. Our rooms were ready very quickly. Even though it was a quick turnaround from the last cruise, our room was spotless. Our bags arrived very soon after.

The food, while good, has lowered in quality over the past few years. We hoped that wouldn't happen with Celebrity, but unfortunately that seems to be the case. There were tons of good choices at the buffet, so no complaints there. The main dining room food was good, but not spectacular. Last time we had a great time with very friendly, personable servers and wine stewards. This time, there wasn't much personality on display, just seemingly overworked people just going about their jobs. The food was okay, but we expected much higher quality.
