Washy washy, Happy Happy
This is our first cruise, and what a way to start. I am also not Shakespeare so this will be a rambling review.
We did the Venice to Barcelona run. Weather was sunny everyday with some wind and spray during two nights, the walking deck on deck 7 was closed both nights. The was some rocking as we headed up to Istanbul from Ephesus, otherwise it was smooth sailing. Temperatures were great, by Canadian standards. Mostly 25-29 C. It was cooler in Barcelona, 12-19C. No rain :O
Our driver got us there early, before the buses from the ship, So we were able to walk up with no one ahead of us. The view is amazing.
Excellent mainly for the food at the current market, amazing gyros.
We didn't have time to look at everything, but the main exhibits were what we wanted.
we just went for photos, did not tour the museum there.
Go, but go early when it is cooler. That grey marble heats up to an oven later in the day. Best ruins we toured.
We went as a family promise for them. It was interesting, but let your faith guide you or see another site.
Well, it's had better days, so while we went knowing the very very limited ruins, I would stress that this is not a major site for most.
Amazing site, had to chuckle at all the camera parts on the table for people to claim.
While it may seem like a maze, it is. but you don't need to see all of it. Many of the shops are just branches of the same store in another part. Haggling was fun. Got some nice stuff for a great price. Haggle.
Hard to believe the building is as old as it it. You must see it.
Bond, James Bond. Proves that movie magic is magic. Great place, but for the right people. Amazed to see fish swimming in the water,
