I just returned from the Spirit (NCL) from April 16th-April 23rd, we arrived a day early and stayed at the Laquinta Inn. The embark to the ship went smoothly and the Travel advisers were very helpful to guide us to the ship. Let me start by saying I chose this ship for the itinerary but 3 out of the 4 stops I have never been to. So I went on this cruise knowing that this was a old ship so I knew what I was getting into.
That being said my cruise stops consisted of going to Key Wests, Cayman Islands, Jamaica and NCl private Islands in Bahama. This ship definitely needs some upgrades. The food was very good in the dining room and my favorite was blue lagoon pub, but we did not eat at the specialty restaurants. My biggest disappointment was that NCL No longer serves free Lobster. I was really looking forward to it.
The entertainment was Great one of the best that I have seen from all the cruises I have been on. The TV in the room was terrible..Oh and the hairdryer on the ship was terrible, again even the dryer needs updating. Only thing on Tv was politics and movies..such a disappointment but that is the way the cruise keeps you from staying out of the room. Our steward, he never introduce himself so not sure who he was but they knew our name and they did not pick up our dirty towels daily again that was a disappointment, but that was the small stuff again overall I had a good time next time stick to newer ships, more to do with the newer ships. not so much on the NCL spirit.
Very nice tour
I was a little scared and when one of the stingray touch my leg I had to get off.
Excellent Tour
