I had heard good things about Viking and my husband and I wanted to check it out. I loved the size of ship and just the right capacity, the casual elegant ambiance, the attention of the staff to knowing our names and the overall cleanliness. Ours was the maiden voyage for Sea so it was not full to capacity, which made it quite nice and easy to get into restaurants and events. I also loved the included tours which gave the passengers a scope of the land and then allowed for differentiation by providing free time to explore and do what we like - excellent practice! As noted below, my impressions are quite favorable. The following are two suggestions:

The pick up at the airport was not well organized, the passengers had to wait for the Viking personnel to arrive and actually, I was concerned since we arrived in Istanbul after the incidents in the city and Berlin.

We did an extension in Venice and all was well except for we departed the hotel at 4:00 a.m. I would have preferred to leave at a later time.

I was impressed with the heated bathroom floor.
