We found a last minute offer that was ideal as we live fairly close to Venice

To get to Venice we travelled in an Austrian Rail bus that dropped us at the port 3 hours later

We checked our bags and walked to Venice for a short visit

It was Easter Sunday and very busy so we left quickly and leisurely went back to the embarkation hall

Embarkation was fairly slow and we had to wait around for quite sometime - something that Costa does not get quite right!Disembarking was a problem for us as we needed to get off fairly early and we were given 3 different instructions from reception - eventually we got to the right place

This was our second trip on Deliziosa and we were not disappointed,, the ship is spic and span

Our cabin, a Premium Balcony was tops and our invisible cabin steward was super efficient

Most of our meals were in the MDR , the Maitre D was really helpful and organised us a table with pleasant English speaking table mates

Our waiters on table 235 first sitting were really good to us

We purchased a wine package on board and were happy with the quality of the wines 

Breakfast in Muscadins Buffet is continental and no eggs were on offer, only in the MDR

The food selection was more than adequate and the sweets amazing

To find a table on on sea days in Muscadins can be a bit tricky

We did our own thing in the ports as the stops were half day

The gym and Sauna areas are also very well equipped 

In Santorini the tendering was really efficient and the stop was great as always

Thanks to the Deliziosa team, we'll be back
