This was my second cruise with Viking and my experience was as positive this time as the first. We did the Tulips and Windmills trip that included several stops in the Netherlands as well as two stops in Belgium. In spring, this is a wonderful itinerary, particularly as one of the highlights was the spectacular Kuekenhof Gardens in Amsterdam (truly a highlight).

The ship is very comfortable. The cabins, while not spacious are well designed with ample storage space. The food was excellent and we especially enjoyed the buffet lunches in the Acquivit Terrace. The staff was excellent and went out of their way to accommodate some special requests for our group to have two private dinners. The local guides who accompanied the excursions were also, for the most part, knowledgeable and often quite entertaining.

The only small complaint concerns the size of the groups on the excursions - often 30+ people. While the audio listening system is an advantage, the large groups often seemed a bit unwieldy, particularly for those of us who wanted the opportunity to do some serious photography. That said, we had a great time and will likely do another cruise with Viking.
