Tulips of Holland, City of Amsterdam, Mussels in Brussels. We enjoyed all the tours and sights, the canals of Amsterdam, walking tour, Kinderdijk windmills tour, river cruise experience of service, food, people.

We were traveling with 2 other couples and we enjoyed sharing meals and excursions with them and the people we met om the cruise. Although the tulips were not blooming in the fields yet, we did get to go to Keukenhof gardens, which were spectacular! we did have some excitement with hurricane force winds shutting off power to the airport and had to wait to dock for a half hour, but we were an hour ahead of time anyway. The winds later prevented the ship from making a port but Viking busses us to Hoorn for the museum and private residence, so we did not miss anything, and a fine lunch was provided since we could not get back to the ship. Winds were very high on the windmill tour and I almost got blown into the canal.

We learnd a lot of history in Arnhem as we toured an excellent WWII museum. Enjoyed the Cathedral of our Lady in Antwerp and the culinary tour. Saw the Watersnood museum and the flood gates, with explanation of the dykes of The Netherlands. Had a great walking tour of Bruges, stopped for hot chocolate at de Medici. All the tour guides were excellent and well informed and helpful.
