Serenade of the Seas 4/8/2016

Pre-Cruise: Flights were smooth and arrived ahead of schedule. Hotel sent a shuttle and picked us up. We checked into the hotel, arranged for shuttle to take us to the pier the next day and put our bags in our room, the shuttle took us to Target for last minute items and the two bottles of wine we were able to take onboard. After dropping our purchases off, we then had the shuttle take us to Olive Garden for dinner. It was a great way to start our trip.

Embarkation: Our shuttle from Hampton Inn took us to the pier where we dropped off our luggage, entered the terminal, went through security, handed in our set sail pass and were on our way onto the holding bay. Knowing we had gotten to the pier early we knew we would have a wait. It was only 20 minutes so not too bad.
