We just took the Azamara Journey on the Transatlantic cruise from Miami to Nice. What a terrific ship. Food was always excellent and the staff at the restaurants are absolutely terrific. Not only were they helpful with recommendations but our waiter, Carlo has an absolutely wonderful sense of humor. The bar tenders are great and very knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed The Living Room, their topside lounge. The waiters there soon learned our drinks of choice and were always johnny on the spot with the drinks. Balcony stateroom was decorated beautifully, as was the entire ship. An advantage of this small ship is that the staff gets to know you and soon anticipates your needs.

The staff at Guest Relations were always helpful and Heidi, the hotel manager was always around to answer questions and resolve problems. Getting on and off the ship at the various ports is a breeze and the disembarkation process was the best I've ever experienced.

The Port stops were excellent with enough time for exploration. Entertainment is only average and management should do better when booking acts, especially the performers who are there for the whole trip.
