Sail Date: Apr 2016
Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Our 4th cruise (In order from best to worst - Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Millennium, Carnival Spirit and this one, Explorer of the seas. The last two are equal last).

Too many people on board (about 3000 passengers). Not enough lounge areas and the few lounge areas they have are very small an always full and noisy (eg Viking lounge). Food very ordinary in all areas - Windjammer cafe, dining room and the 3 specialty restaurants. Both of us got bad food poisoning on this cruise including D&V. My wife at the start and myself at the end despite the staff's valiant efforts with the hand gels in all food areas. Far too many people on this small ship. Difficult to relax. had to stay in cabin most of the time just to get some R&R. Thank goodness for the balcony room but even the balcony was much smaller than all other cruises we have been on.

Better gym than most ships I have seen. Staff very nice and helpful. Room was a decent size with plenty of hanging space for clothes etc. Good entertainment in the theatre.
