Commercial on TV was enticing and looked exciting; so we booked. The ship is extraordinary! Food and the lovely venues for during the day were great. The dining in the evening was okay...food was just warm and not hot...for example; lukewarm escargots in garlic butter sauce; had to send back for reheating...chicken was the same issue as was the small filet. We did ask the staff for assistance and they were very kind and we did end up with hot meals. Shows were excellent; however, there needs to be more activities for those over 50! for during the day...we do not rock climb or zip glide too much anymore! The ports were lovely...we tend not to "beach" much, love to do minimal shopping, so the quiet time on the ship was appreciated.
An observation ....there was no chapel or a Catholic priest available for Mass on Sunday or for daily Mass....we have had priests on-board our other cruises and voyages over the years; this would be a big plus for this ship. In speaking with other passengers , they too, believed that a chapel with services, Catholic and Protestant would have been an added plus!
Our most favorite activities were the show CATS, comics, and of course the fantastic parade...such fun for all ages;and, the accomplished entertainers in the various clubs. So many new slots in the casino! almost made "our" donations fun.
excellent...enough space for 2 senior citizens.
