We chose this cruise because it was the last time the Magic would be sailing from Galveston. It was a great cruise. The food was good, the entertainment was good and the service was great. We chose a balcony room on the 6th floor and had no complaints what so ever. Our room steward Gede was very good and never bothered us at all. Our first stop in Key West was exceptional. We did the Pub Crawl and had a blast. The tour group leader was very knowledgeable and had a great personality. The stops in Nassau and Free port Bahamas were also good but, we decided to just go on our own and do a bit of shopping and exploring there.

This was the first cruise that we had purchased the Cheers program because of the new additions to the program. I am glad we did and believe it payed for itself. This was also the first time we opted for the Anytime Dining, although it was not bad, we seem to prefer the early seating as we believe the service was a bit more as expected.

As far as the room, we booked a balcony cabin on the 6th floor. Room 6451. It is located above the Vibe night club. I actually enjoyed the slight noise you could here but can see where it might negatively impact someone who is a light sleeper.
