Embarkation was amazingly quick and the red carpet treatment with the press into the cruise terminal was great fun. I was on Ovation within what seemed minutes. There were a few people who had stayed on from the 3 night cruise and said it was extremely busy and very hard to get served in the bars. I was a little worried but I need not have been, apart for the Music Hall which was busy service was great even in there.

This was my first time on a Quantum class ship and a Maiden Voyage I was again unsure what to expect but I did have a great time. I met up with some old friends and new it was for me a lovely time.

My cabin 11536 was amazing my first time in a balcony and Martin the cabin steward was dedicated and kind. Champagne (sparkling wine) was on ice a special base ball cap and a couple of limited edition bottles of beer were waiting. What a nice thought with the normal bottle of choice there as well.
