There were 20+ in our group, from the ages of 4-60. There was something for everyone. Camp Carnival was so good with the 4 yr old, he didn't want to leave when his mother came to pick him up at night. The teens in our group had lots of fun in their clubs and met a lot of other teens, it helped it was a springbreak cruise. The adults did everything from Karaoke every night, to bingo, casino, and shows. As far as bringing drinks on board, we were told no, but when we got to the terminal, there were dozens of people carrying 12 packs of soft drinks. We hid what we could in our luggage!! The staff was outstanding, every one of them that made eye contact with you, greeted you. They were very knowledgeable about events that were going on and kept us informed on the extra special things we didn't want to miss. The food was okay, if you got something you didn't like, you could always go back for something else. Room service was good also. The 24 hour pizzeria included a pannini bar. I had a massage on board in the spa. It was well worth the money but I also got a massage in Progresso on the beach for $15 that was just as good. I didn't do any excursions in Progresso, I just stayed on the beach all day. It was hard to relax b/c of all the vendors coming by all day, one even sat on my beach towel to show me his silver. Some in our group went on the Flamingo tour and said it was worth the $20. In Cozumel we shopped all day and ate at Mr Chile's. It was authentic Mexican food and was very good! The margarita was huge and very strong. I wobbled all the way back to the boat...lol. We did find some very good t-shirt deals in Cozumel in the downtown area. I wish I would have known before hand what to pack because I did overpack. I did not wear near as many dress up clothes as I thought I would and I didn't pack enough casual clothes. On our fun days at sea, it was more of a t-shirt/swimsuit and shorts kind of day. Our last fun day at sea, people were still in pajamas at lunch and it was very casual. Don't spend a lot of time on your hair either b/c it's so windy on the decks, your hair won't stay in place anyway. The cruise was amazing and I can't wait to do it again.
