Heard so many wonderful things about Viking and the itinerary on this particular cruise was exactly what we are interested in. The ship and our cabin were luxurious! Dining a treat! Now we would like to experience a Viking river cruise in the near future so we are looking at their river cruise itineraries.

The Viking Star is a smaller ship. I have sailed out of Port Canaveral several times on various cruise lines(I won't mention any names!) with larger ships. I enjoyed the smaller ship and smaller crowds. The ship itself is beautiful. Our cabin was quite comfortable and our steward, Michael, was a joy and took excellent care of us. I told him I didn't know how I would be able to take care of myself after the cruise!

There are several offerings as far as dining. The Chef's Table is particularly fun with the different food and wine pairings. There is Manfredi's if you like Italian. And The Restaurant has just about everything else you could possibly want.

I wanted to take my cabin steward, Michael, home with me. Thank you, Michael!
