We traveled with Azamara to the Caribbean in December 2015. We were so impressed we decided to book the transatlantic crossing and we were not disappointed.

The service on Azamara is excellent. I also like the fact that this is all inclusive so there is no "card swiping" every time you order a drink.

The smaller cruise ships do not feel crowded and getting seats in the bar or around the pool is never a problem.

Cabin Review

Club Veranda Stateroom

Cabin V1

We stayed in a verandah stateroom. The stateroom attendants made up the room almost as soon as you left it. There was adequate storage and the room was well laid out.

Bathrooms are small, however they are serviceable.

Port Reviews

Gibraltar

We hired a local guide. The tour of the upper rock, caves and tunnels was very good. You can go to the upper rock yourself via cable car, however there is a lot of walking up steep hills to see the attractions if you do this on your own.

Palma de Mallorca (Majorca)

The cathedral and the old town are easily accessed. Well worth seeing.

Saint-Tropez

Not much to see. This is a very busy port that is good to see if you have not been before. You only really need an hour on shore then you will be glad to get back to the tranquility of the ship.

Miami

Easy embarkation point for the cruise.

Ponta Delgada

This was a good tour and provided a nice overview of the island.
