First time cruising, had no idea what to expect other than what I read extensively online. We traveled with a couple that had cruised RC once before so we are not Diamond+ or anything like that, just regular people on vacation, I believe they were considered Gold status.

Tampa port seemed seamless, no hassles with anything. We stayed at the beautiful Floridian Hotel the night before and had maybe a 15 minute ($25) cab ride. We were in boarding group 11, friends were in boarding group 4 as they were repeat customers. You know what? We all got on the boat, don't worry about the group you are assigned. Maybe 20 minutes after them we were onboard.

Ship was beautiful, clean and well maintained from what I could tell. We had cabin 9038 which was a perfect location and very well maintained. Bed was super comfortable and nothing appeared rundown in appearance as others have mentioned. Louis was our room attendant and he was also great, took care of the room at least twice a day and we never saw him. Like a ghost that cleans up after me. Never wanted for anything.
