We chose this cruise strictly on the itinerary. The boat itself does have some issues. I definitely would not say it's a rust bucket, I thought the interior was wonderful. The balcony was amazing. We had cabins 7001&7003. Both were quiet and the balcony was way bigger than the Carnival or Norwegian we have previously sailed. Also, 7001 was in the front so the view from balcony to canal was wonderful. The negative was the smell. It has been remarked upon on this site and it was a definite notice for us too.
The food was ok some hit and miss. Definitely do not do late dining if you are trying to see shows, you'll miss them. The casino was limited to a few table games, small, not enough variety, but rarely full so not an issue with that. The ports were good except for Colon, not worth getting off even.
The spa is expensive and they try and sell you to do a three visit package. Don't do it, you'll end up having better daily specials and the staff will bug you to buy products, annoying! The service is tremendous on the boat. Staff goes out of their way to help and....no need to "Extra" tipping unless you are inclined to at the end. Loved that. Also pictures only at ports and formal nights, very nice to not be constantly bombarded.
Front of ship, nice shade, huge balcony, and a bathtub, bathroom was huge compared to other ships.
Best beach ever. Walk farther down and you will have privacy and hammocks!
It's great but it's a tight area and expensive.
This was a hit.
Not worth getting off.
Amazing! You will see so many Animals!
