First off I would like to say this cruise was cheap and last minute so going into it that was the mindset. I am a teenager who loves to cruise. This was my families 4th cruise 2 previous Carnival and 1 Royal Caribbean.

Embarkation: Ok we drove down and spent the night at a hotel in Orangeburg SC. On embarkation day it was a short 4 hr drive and we were at the port. This was one of the slowest embarkation ordeals I have ever been through. By the time we got through the line to get our keys we were told the computers were down and they had to get all our info BY HAND! this took forever especially with 4 people. Once we finally got the keys were off to the ship.

Ship: The ship is old but showed minimal wear and tear. All the public rooms were decent and clean. There was staff working 24/7 cleaning the ship. The ship had putt putt which was really nice and it had a basketball court. We had heard that the Fascination was going into dry dock soon to get upgraded and we also heard that JAX port has till 2011 to decide wether it will build a permanent dock or not. If they don't Carnival will probably leave according to a worker on board.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6C

Tiny Room with 4 beds. Great View, and a little noisy due to it being semi close to the elevator.
