This was my third cruise, 2nd one to the Western Caribbean, with all having been with Royal Caribbean (both the Mariner and the Oasis). So I knew what to expect, and I wasn't disappointed.

Embarkation was easy and streamlined. My family and I are Gold members, so we were able to see someone right away. But seeing as there were so many lines to begin with, the average wait time for everyone else didn't appear to be too long. Even with a minor problem with my brother's Seapass card (it kept getting tied to me instead of our father, which required it to be replaced later on), we were through very quickly.

I was one of four people in our party, including my parents and my brother. We had two adjoining cabins. No complaints about the rooms, although I do wish a hairdryer - even a small one - was included in the bathroom. My parents' luggage arrived at a decent time, but my brother's and mine didn't show up until much later. We almost weren't able to dress up for dinner, and were starting to worry that our luggage might not arrive. Our stewardess was very reassuring, however, and our luggage did arrive before the evening.

This was the coastal cruise, and it was fantastic. The tour guide was friendly, fun and informative. We even had a bit of a mix-up and missed the time for our tour. The staff let us get on as part of the second tour of the day, no problem. I would absolutely recommend this excursion.
