The Cabin A was smaller than other Cabins I have had on previous river cruises. The service was great and the cabin was very well taken care of and in addition our cabin person made towel animals for us every day. The ports and shore excursions were very good but sometimes we didn't have enough time to investigate on our own and too much time, i. e., Trier, for personal time.

Entertainment and activities were enjoyable and food was good except I didn't care for the German food. I was also unaware that on Saturday we would spend a lot of time in a bus traveling to Paris. The booklet and email I received regarding MyVikingCruise did not mention this at all and I was completely surprised by this fact. When we arrived at the Meridien hotel in Paris, I was not at all happy with that accommodation but the Viking people were very helpful. I was on the Odin. The Jarl was last November 2015. I would not want to travel with children. I am very happy that the cruise was only 101 people and no children.

I'd like to be able to have other books to read except for the travel books located in the library. I would go again to Spain and also to Mississippi if eventually offered by Viking. I'd also like to travel go England and Scotland if this was offered by Viking. I do appreciate the ease of making the reservation and information given by the travel people but be more forthcoming with information i.e., bus trips for long hours.
