The tour guides for all the shore excursions were very informative and professional. In addition to the daily shore excursions, there was plenty of free time to explore on our own. The staff were very helpful and friendly I like the concept of the cruise being all inclusive especially with wine included for lunch and dinner plus the shore excursions were included. The cruise director and the concierge always provided us with additional information about the places we were about to visit. I enjoyed the entertainment that Viking had on board. There were a glass blower, German musicians, classical performers, and a trio of singers about songs about the Seine River. It was enjoyable that the seating for lunch and supper was not assigned, you could sit with different people to meet as many of the cruisers as you want. It was nice meeting people from different places. The cruise staff greeted us as we boarded the ship and escorted us to our room with our luggage. The cruise was very good value for the cost. Being a river cruise, the ship was always docked close to the town we were visiting which made it easy to stroll into and from the ship. I especially like the day that the cruise ship sailed down the part of the Rhine River that had all the castles on it during the day. We sat on the top of the cruise ship and the tour director gave us information about all the castles we were sailing by plus the staff gave us hot chocolate to keep warm
