It was our first cruise for me and my husband. So eager to experience this together, we booked the Spirit and have not regretted it so far!! We had done quite a bit of research including this website, and we were a bit concerned about certain reviews here...But to our surprise, we loved almost ALL of it !! From the friendly and welcoming staff (EVERYBODY!!) to the wonderful experiences we had, just watching the Ocean go by from our balcony room at a high floor where we just sat for a long time to see the waterbirds just flying parallel to our room !! I will never forget these sights!!

And the fantastic music offered by Caribbean Wave, by the Tivoli pool; not to be missed !! And the FOOD !! So much variety and beautiful dishes and food decor that was just beautiful!! The bartenders were GREAT !! So friendly and smiling always!! Teppanyaki was just awesome...with such a masterful Chef...Even though we got rained-on in Ocho Rios, we made the best out of it by going to Bamboo Beach Club (sweet !) after my husband climbed Dunn's River Falls...under pouring rain!! Laughing and loving it.

The shows were really cool especially Master Ron! The food...Did I mention the awesome food? And the smiles from everybody: from "wishy-washie-happy-happy" sweet faces greeting us for our morning coffee at Raffles to the Steward that was so helpful and nice...Our ONLY complain was that they need to pay attention to some Sewer issues!! Our bedroom was fantastic, but every one in a while we were surprised by a bad smell like sewage and heavy chemicals coming out of the "toilet area" (?). Not sure about this, since one day, I was walking close to the "Windows Restaurant" upper area and it smelled similarly bad !! We meant to report this, but got so busy trying to do everything; that we never got around it and it was NOT all of the time. We just opened the balcony door to air it out and it was OK. Read more
